Nice pic. Expression all correct. In fact the eyes were the thing that caught my attention.
HAS THE DUST SETTLED?
i like the way she looked up and away from the cam;
when she bend forward, her hair falls in a very nice way n shows some cleavage, subtle but suggestive,
by putting her hands on her knees, u hv given a balance to her pose; else she will just be bending forward without support;
nice touch by asking her to push her arms to her chest; it will be really terrible to see gaps of the background;
the way the light fell on her face; her dark eye bags, her ''blue black bruised'' face; makes me imagine, does she a teenangle, party a lot? study very late? did she hv a fight n someone bruised her? MAKEs me curious abt her;
her make up, a very natural DIY type, i supposed; JUST A VERY REAL HER; why will i want to spent money on a paid model, make up artist to doll her up , just to capture the spirit in yr friend OR to pretend to hv the feel or spirit captured by u?
her dress sense; i am not young but i always appreciates the ways youngster dressed, always trying to express themselves; what is the perfect outfit?? or can someone advise what is the correct outfit for her??
i think this photo will become a classic in clubsnap n this is what photography is about, getting pp to think & interpret what is in yr mind when u shoot it.
technically, i am sure a lot of the comments make sense but once u hv learn the basics, it is time to bend the rules n try new takes;
working under a boss who always want to do things his ways will only get u as far as him; by experimenting, u may fall but u may also do better;

from the pose of ur model.. think u need a really wide lens and focus closer on the model's head allowing u to achieve a more interesting 'big head' effect.
since the feet can be seen, the feet should not be cropped off, in my opinon. i also think that the model should look at the lens instead of looking up or elsewhere for a more 'intense feel'.
her makeup can be better too.

hmmm i find this picture underexpose... but i kinda like it, but then maybe i should leave less space i guess she looks as if she wondering what u are doing~~~~
but realli i do think if u did take her in this pose try to get a focus, aka the facial expression, the pose she;s in looks wrong in many wayz i guess~~~~ i would have prefer to see her sitting and putting her hands to her cheecks with this expression
