moosblu got a point.

buy some infrared film
there is also an IR (deep red almost opaque) filter
shoot IR with film.
can use a normal canon film slr body with your lenses.

you might like it more than digi IR.

who knows, you might feel digi IR is "fake" and nowhere near the real thing with film.

also read an article in pop photo mag that show how to create IR effect using photoshop.

Hi all,

I appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.

I have not made up my mind still. There is one other factor to it all and that is:-

If I buy either the new lens or the D70. I will not be able to spend my next holidays over there in Singapore.

Believe me that is very much on my mind as I realy enjoyed my last one there!
