No one wished for the Leica 25mm and the 45mm? 25mm is already available in the US, but not here :(.

Not for me anymore at least... LOL... after my accidental acquisition of the Sigma 30mm... my dry cab's full in any case... no more space. Unless some of the lenses go and make space... looks like I will be happy with just my current lot. (ok, maybe plus that few I am dreaming of... )

No problem at all. Buy another dry cab will do. :bsmilie:

Anything interesting on offer??

It will likely be the 8mm fisheye but I was also looking at the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 until Olympus announced the 14-35mm f/2.0, though the price difference will likely be huge.

I am a little torn between a 50-200SWD or a Sigma 135-400, the reason for the latter is the extra reach and the fact that I can purchase it now.

Although the 50-200SWD is on the roadmap for a 2007 release I doubt that we will see it soon. My guess, spring 2008.

Did they settle the issues on the 25mm already?

The issues I think were localized, and there are many folks with posted samples. Pity the lens is available in the US but not here.

I am also eyeing on Sigma 150mm 2.8 macro and Sigma 135-400mm. Asked around but not available in Singapore.

Pal it cant be. I got quote from MScolor last month

SIGMA APO 150mm EX DG HSM MARCO is $1080
SIGMA APO 135-400 ASP RF is $1020

i would like a 14-54, and the upcoming standard grade wideangle.

Got to be some changes :

Most wanted : Still the 12-60mm HG
Most desired : 35-100mm SHG

Tried the prime and realised that it is not that great afterall... I am surprised by the performance of the 50mm Macro. The performance is close to the Leica. Amazing. The difference does not justify for the extra $$$ I have to spend. Can be achieved by extra hours on Photoshop.

Which prime lens are you referring to that comes close to the Leica? :)

85mm f1.4 versus the 50mm Macro.

The 85mm is the obvious winner, but the 50mm holds enough water on its own to please the customer... so the 85mm is out of my wishlist.

me still dreaming on 7-14mm and 35-100mm and now another 8mm fisheye.. i've tried the 35-100 and the 8mm of marky and made me drool.. haven't tried 7-14 though..
