That one was one cartoon I can remember clearly...always kena bluff by mother to eat vegetables.

Ya ME TOO!! :cry: ...they don't make any more violent movies like Bugs Bunny, Tom and Jerry or Road Runner where Fudd, Tom and Wiley E Coyote gets sliced to pieces, flattened, bombed, dropped into abyss tied to anvil etc...

Now it's all sissy cartoons like transformers, ninjaturtles, where they shoot at / fight each other but no main character really gets much damage. (yaya...some AutomasPrime or something like that died, but that's like at the end of one whole long series!)

There's south park, but we don't get them in Sg.

The problem with Japanese Anime is either to violent and confusing (like Ghost in the Shell, which is one Anime that I like...esp SAC) or Neon Genesis (that one scratch head)

The only one that I will still chase like mad is Slam Dunk.

I just like clean and straight forward bomb, stab, flatten, drop-down-cliffs, sliced, ironed over, shot with multiple-bulletholes-still-showing etc.
Anyway not much Anime showing on Channel 5 or 8. Have to go buy.

precisely. because animators have moved on to more awesome stuff that takes a jab at anything and everything, like South Park. heh.

American Dad! and Family Guy are up there too. no wait. in fact. it's just Family Guy, South Park, and then American Dad! for me. nothing else comes close in terms of material being used/discussed/taken out of context for the purposes of hilariousness.

that's the best part. it's Seth Macfarlane giving the royal middle finger to the people who tried to sue him for portraying Stewie as the matricidal infant in the earlier seasons.

and there are actually censored off bits that do not get made into the episode. the DVD's uncut footage is just. heh. AHAHAHAHAH!

sorry I'm a big fan so you can choose to disagree with it, but I'll still love it till the ends of time.

in fact, I am so going to go watch The Bird is The Word episode now where Peter spends the first half of the show singing that song over and over again.

Elfen Lied is the most violent anime IMO.. got nude scenes and whoa, the degree of violent is really *gasp* :sweat: the storyline is beautiful though

My favourite cartoon? Candy Candy (Xiao Tian Tian) and Waxy Races which were very popular a long long time ago. No prizes for guessing my age.

Yes, in Xiao Tian Tian (Candy Candy), her white horse prince is called Anthony. The cartoon kept us guessing whether he died or not after falling off his white horse.
