Danny Ings has reportedly rejected a move to Real Sociedad – in order to seal a ‘dream’ transfer to Liverpool.
The Burnley striker, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has been holding talks with Sociedad about a switch.
But despite being offered lucrative terms, the Daily Mirror says he’s rejected the switch and will now join Liverpool instead.
The Reds have already approached Ings to do business and while they will have to pay about £6million in compensation, the transfer looks set to happen.
Ings has always set his heart on Anfield and has apparently described the switch as a ‘dream’.

Ings will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season, however due to his age, a small compensation fee will be required - but it's a fee Rodgers will have no qualms in paying.

Jordan Henderson, Glen Johnson and Mamadou Sakho will not be involved in Liverpool's Europa League clash with Besiktas on Thursday night due to injury and illness.
The trio did not train today and were not in the travelling party that flew to Turkey this afternoon to defend a 1-0 lead in the second leg at the Ataturk Stadium.
Vice-captain Henderson is absent with an ankle knock, Johnson is ill and Sakho remains sidelined with the hip issue that ruled him out of the win at Southampton on Sunday.
Brendan Rodgers' side take a narrow advantage into the return meeting in Istanbul following a late Mario Balotelli penalty winner in the opening tie at Anfield last Thursday.
