For shoot, we can choose from any of the above locations mentioned in my earlier post or try shooting floorball. Marathon is out. By then, it would have finished. Sentosa will need a lot of time to explore, so out too. If any of you have other suggestions, let us know.

Dont think that prices of camera stuff gonna be much cheaper during COMEX. However I will be looking at external harddisks, anyone thinking of getting an external USB powered harddisk - 300GB. it was on offer for $199 during the June's PC show.

Okay not sure whether you guys have posted this before, shooting with light tent

it's a pretty simple set up for product shoot, I have a light tent you guys can borrow. Just get 3 flashes (min 2) and you are ready to go. Try experimenting different light positions, using reflectors, etc... and you'll be surprised by the results you can get.

Why light tent? it helps to remove alot of unwanted reflections and unwanted shadows. There's more discussion in an earlier CS threadhere

why not ;p maybe dried stuff for the time being... like your toys, "small" boy... we can play ard with different type of products & materials - shiny, matt, etc.. you'll see it is not easy to do a good product shoot :bigeyes:
