How does it look like? Have unable to find any pictures in any of the Olympus websites

I called challenger at thomson plaza just now (cause it's the nearest to my place) and they had stock but told me they were selling at $748. Such a big discrepancy between shops? And I really want to get it at $625, do let us know how/where you got that price!

Took the plunge and just got the XZ-1 from Challenger with the following "freebies".

1 x 8GB Sandisk SD Card
1 x SteinZeiser Lens Cleaning Kit
1 x SteinZeiser Screen Protector
1 x Siyoteam Card Reader
1 x Challenger Mini-Tripod
1 x Kata Digital Pouch DF-410-V (Price S$35)
1 x Olympus LI-50B Battery (Was told that it is cost around $60)

All items listed above with the exception of the pouch are marked as S$0.00 and "Member Rewards Points" on their price label.

Paid S$748. Got this at the nearest Challenger to me for the convenience and the swinger was the inclusion of the additional original battery. Unfortunately, it is only after coming back to see another got the cam for a good $123 cheaper at another Challenger, although details are sketchy as to what is included for the S$625 offer.

In any case, on the battery, this was packed in a simple plastic bag, assume there should be no reason to doubt its authenticity. Indicated as Made by Sony in China.

Jurong point. Was not hard bargaining. Would have prefer a straight discount but since there wasn't one had wanted more thrown in. the pouch is an extra.

nope, that's according to MS Color, TK Foto, SLR Revo, Harvey Norman HG Mall, Challenger HG Mall..

Probably a dummy set. I just asked Parisilk and the boss said that the white sets are not in yet. They have a lot of black ones though.
