Sad right? :bsmilie: At least still got viewer, better than no support at all:confused:

Adobe generally update Lr quarterly. Check up when was the last update and you will have a pretty good idea on when is next. ;)

Good buy, original batt shld be worth at least 50 or 60 :)

Congrats :)

Yea dude its a good buy.. Im lovin my white xz 1.. play with it yesterday. It was amazing..... no regrets!~!~Wanted to buy black (grip better, common colour and can see fingerprint) but white colour looks more "retro" to me and cannot see fingerprint and more smooth surface (so i no need to keep wiping). :bsmilie::bsmilie:.

Hmmm.... Actually, I can wait,not like I own the XZ-1 or E-PL2:bsmilie:

Not yet. Your only option now is to export the ORF to TIFF using Viewer 2 then use Lr to do the rest of the processing.

Aaah… doing a underwater photography review on the XZ-1… planned to shoot everything in RAW. Now, have to shoot RAW+Jpeg (if the XZ-1 have it).

Hope everything goes well… might get XZ-1 to replace my aging Powershot…

I know it is troublesome but the process I suggested earlier is the only way to get Olympus' colour. XZ-1 has a dedicated WB for underwater photography and I think this is still the best way to achieve the right colour reproduction when shoot in the water. The underwater casing for XZ-1 fit nicely. It's easy to handle. I'm sure you will like it. :)

Do it..... The force is strong.... :bsmilie: Ok I'm being lame, the XZ-1 has RAW+jpeg so no worries, don't forget the promo for the underwater casing ;)

Since you guys/gals has already done most of the review on XZ-1's photo capability… my plan is to concentrate on how the U/W casing handles and photos/videos not deeper than 5 metres. My current U/W strobe can't be use with the XZ-1… so, will be testing how good the pop-up flash handles during macro shoot.

Die… have to handle both a DSLR + PnS camera during each dive…

I've not reviewed the XZ-1 lei :bsmilie: Your current strobes cannot trigger by slave? Sorry, not a underwater guy so a bit noob in this area, remember tie it to you,be safe and don't let the camera swim away ;)

went and test XZ-1 today. Indeed a good camera. But the size is a bit big for me. I think i will just keep my S90.

My current Ikelite Strobe can't be trigger by slave mode without $$$$ sensor parts. We use Syc Cord to trigger our Strobe for DSLR system.... optic fiber for most PnS system. While XZ-1 have a Hotshoe for flash... don't think their OEM casing would support it.... which is a waste....

Ah well, the XZ-1 wasn't meant for professionals as a main camera I guess, so remove this and that to make it cheaper for consumers? But still, would be interesting to see what can be done. The wireless flash with the Olympus originals drove me nuts using the built in commander, no way to control, it seems to be TTL which ALWAYS gave me over exposed images unless I shoot in manual but then again, could be because I didn't have much time to play with it hahahha but I did want to take it into the studio to see what are the results lol

Hi, OT abit… can adobe LR 3.2 handle the RAW file of the XZ-1 ??

Would be good if people stuck to the topic.
If you want to ask other things, start a new thread.
Is it that difficult to ask? It's basic courtesy or else you are wasting reader's valuable time trawling over your irrelevant gibberish.

Though OT a little (*just*), his question is still related to XZ-1. Starting a new thread with 1 or 2 (probably) replies are also waste of time.

The topic is "XZ-1 Where and how much"

If starting a new thread is a waste of time, then it is also a waste of time to those who are looking for info on how where and how much is the ZX-1, agree?

New topic, new thread - it is good organisational practice or else just lump everything under "Olympus"?!

Dude. Create a new thread. What you are doing is making folks read irrelevant stuff. Don't hijack threads. It's not respecting the TS. It shows laziness.

Mmmm…

If you are feel strongly against my posting… do report it to the Oly sections Moderator… or the Admin if you feel the Mods can't be fair.

And don't 'waste' time posting a reply here… just report it ;)

This thread should not even be here but belongs to the Consumer Corner! Where there is even a price list and shops to get it. Good organistaion practice is to close this thread and not allow any consumer posting here.

The discussions should be towards equipment technicals and discussion on the workings of the camera/lens in the brand specific section.

Thread closed please start consumer related thread in the proper section.
