I'm not sure if taking photos of you is legal? You will need parental consent. Because photographers who post photos in public like ClubSnap or the Web needs a model release form signed by an adult or 18 and above.

Just to clarify.. Its fully legal..

Model releases arent required (although i actively encourage the use of it)

That what happens when there are too many wannbes. No experiences , No license to kill and many simply posting a few photos of themselves are asking for "rates" to have them shoot. Mind you. I dun so.. what in the name of all Holy do u possess for you to do that.!!!

In the world and age, reality is that we don't want to be suckered into something we know little. I would try to take your camera system and every cent in your account it she was my daughter. Even if you have the money to pay for damages, could you afford the time in the courts that could drag for months?

Wisdom comes with experience, trust me better be safe than sorry.

anyway, if any photographers interested to engage her for a shoot and have little concern about walk on a gray zone, can invite her parents to sit in the session.

Not sure if you've worked with a major image bank or understand the complications of legal engagements when it comes to 'sueing' someone. Unless the images of TFCD contained inappropriate images of the client, there IS very little a family can do to bring you to court. Arbitration perhaps, Mediation perhaps... but full front law suit... Families wont waste that sort of money.. if they had, they daughters wouldnt need to do modeling freelance.

If parents want to sue for a proper TFCD shot, i'm sure many of the model's friends have her images on their mobile phones - based on your suggestions, they can probably sue her friend's pants off..

Maybe Xingyi should just close and delete this thread and restart a new one with some of her recent shoots. I've seen the photos. She's a great up and rising model.
