Well, I still don't see anything wrong with the ones shooting these models. If enjoying a shoot with a pretty model classifies one as a pervert, then aren't people putting these photographers the same line as perverts who expose themselves naked on the streets, or panty stealers, and people who peep at women panties under escalators? They're just like men who enjoy watching a Victoria's Secret lingerie show that is often on TV.
Calling them downright perverts to me is kinda wrong as that kinda insult is reserved for the worse ones described above.
i think its the own photographer's mindset probably.
if you go to a bikini/lingerie shoot with a decent mind and a goal which is related to photography, :thumbsup:
if you go there with the hopes of getting to shoot the model zao geng/bed her/make her your wife in the future, :thumbsd:
but the 2nd catergory of photographers are tainting the reputation of the majority here so :thumbsd::thumbsd:
With regards to your 2nd type, are those more of "chao buayas" rather than perverts? :bsmilie:

it's obviously for some form of publicity, but what she says isn't entirely untrue. 
one thing for sure, she's not a bimbo.
she's actually pretty smart.
anyway my thoughts on her post.
the part i agree with her is about those GWCs (the minority)
although this issue has been brought up again & again, we still have GWCs. its like a mother whom nags her child all day long but nothing goes in. i like this post because it serves as a reminder to possible GWC to watch what they do. i don't know about the photographer she picked on (unlucky guy), but i'm sure there's true authentic GWCs out there. :thumbsup:
the point which i disagree in her post is the comments and those pictures.
but i think almost all of us know that photos up there in Xiaxue's blog are supposedly "unglam" and most of the girls there are actually more capable and prettier than what the photos depict, which is why i find it okay to start this thread. we've probably seen so many of the girls' pictures in sites and P&P sections and every "model" has their unglam photos, so nothing to be ashamed about.
the main reason why she had to add the photos and redundant comments is probably to generate publicity and create "humour", at the extent of hurting others. :thumbsd:

well, she didn't have to do it in a mocking way, but that's what she does to generate hits.
in any case, she pointed out:
a) lack of attention to detail (phone, blah)
b) a seemingly endless need to see girls in bikini and lingerie
c) fact that most of those photos did not flatter the models
it is true, if you were really into beauty, if you were really into photography, rather than some other motives.. then even if the pictures were not that good, they won't be that bad.
also, even if the pictures are good, she fails to address the problem of behaviour. i think a gwc who just looks is still tons better than a gwc who tries other things.
really meh. i thought she got no father, only got mother, and they live in a small flat?
but i think her ang moh boyfriend like quite rich.. they live in a rented condo now i think.

anyways, it doesn't matter. it's not as if anyone is going to bother.
most people will just defend their own choices and be up in arms.. after all, we know that everytime there is an event involving loads of skimpily clad girls, reportage and sports explodes with threads trying to show off who has captured the most pokemon.. i mean.. models. :bsmilie:
