wat is exactly wrong with being a weekend hobby fotographer who join shoots along with good buddies, to joke and have fun in their favourite past-time?

and now they have the added pressure of having so much restrictions on attending a shoot and actually having some 'goal in mind' when most of us are just out to have a good time?

ridiculous! as for sharing of fotos online, some are just interested in sharing and have no need for extra comments.

so jus enjoy the fotos and keep the comments to oneself.


we are the ones paying to join the shoots and since it is a leisurely shoot where we can pursue and indulge in our passion, fotography, why should we give ourselves so much added pressure and stress when we are already so stressed out at work from mondays to fridays?


we are just guys out on weekends to enjoy fotography with our buddies. why complicate matters?

Agree with Cheesecake. People buy cameras with their own money, sign up for shoots, pay their own money, go for shoots, go back, download, post... - at which stage has that gotta do with any outsider? This is purely personal. Does that mean that if you sign up for Modelinn's shoot, you are not a lecher? Does that mean that if you are not shooting the models at SIN, you are not a lecher? Does it mean if you invest in a lot of lighting and compose artistically, you are not a lecher? The problem about XiaXue's remarks is that she branded everyone at SIN as lechers. She branded everyone who joins bikini and lingerie shoots and who cannot shoot well as lechers. So she means if we can't shoot well, we cannot join bikini and lingerie shoots? Does she mean those who like to see pretty girls cannot join shoots? Bullsh*t okay! I started from joining Charby's shoot just to catch a glimpse of Jac Sue and I am now really thankful that because of my passion in watching pretty girls, my skills has improved. Initially the improvement is not because I want to improve. It is because I want to capture her the way I feel about her, this leads to the improvement. Then I began to love photographing street portraits and others. The point is certain things lead to certain things. After all we are all humans. As these people grow older, they will achieve another perspective on photography which will raise them to new levels. This is the only site in the world where I can see such a big reaction to bikini and lingerie shoots. Weird. You mean if you join a lingerie shoot in US or Taiwan, there won't be wolves? Foreigners just don't talk about these topics. Anything bad happens they just call the police. Why not dedicate the effort to commenting pictures?

Even if a person am paying money to look at pretty and sexy girls, what is the problem there? I buy my own camera, I behave myself, I did not disturb the girls, I am polite with them. After taking my pictures I just go home. Anything wrong with that? And come on lah, don't tell me these people give photography a bad name. You know I know how the world is. Black sheep are everywhere in every industry. The law will deal with them, and we need to inform the models to be more careful. I feel amused because a lot of 'saints' here said that those PHOTOGRAPHERS at SIN give photographers a bad name. Since when are they 'photographers'? They are just curious and passionate public! I ask you all a simple question: how many times a year do you get to see KT So and Taiwanese and Thai meimeis all in one fell swoop and only pay $10 and can shoot like hell? We are all mundane people. Maybe those 'saints' are rich la - they can travel to US/Taiwan/Thailand to shoot these models or they have achieved 达摩 level spiritually.

Guys, don't give yourselves pressure. If you love to shoot, just shoot whatever you want. The baseline is: be a gentleman.

Some analytical thoughts.Its all about ATTENTION really.Everyone craves for attention and be noticed.In blogger's case that's what she aimed for, to be noticed and even riled by
everyone thru her blog and maybe she get's a 'high' by it all. Same goes for those wannabes
'models'.They too crave for attention and be noticed and perhaps gain popularity and the only way is thru 'mollering' So there's really no arguments here it's all about CHOICES.

Even in photography it's all about choices.You pick the subject of your choice, be it landscape,marco,nature,portraiture and as long as one enjoys his/her choice there's
no case at all.At the end of the day photogs also wants attention and be noticed for their works.This is just a general analysis albeit some really are perverts who goes for smuts and the like.


FANTASIES ! Everyone in one way or another fantasise. One may fantasise about becoming
a top model,a top photographer,racing driver or bedding gorgeous babes and hunks so on so forth and the only difference is whether one choose to make his/her fantasies materialize.

As for this blogger her choice had been fulfilled and going by this thread she have had
more attention generated than ever before so perhaps we should take this with a little pinch
of salt
