View angles are quite different between the 23 and 35mm, but I understand what you said. I will definitely get the 23, but only when the market has cooled down a bit.

To me the 56/1.2 isn't as useful as the 60/2.4. 56mm is a bit too long to use indoor (unless shoot models at some events) while I don't need F1.2 when shooting outdoor. Had a Pentax 50/1.2 before, really didn't use it much at all because of these.

I like to take macros and close-ups, 60/2.4 can also serve as a portrait lens when need to. It'd be a better option to me between these two. And I bet the 56/1.2 would cost quite a bit more, probably will be the most expensive lens from Fujifilm in X mount.

For me I'm a portrait person, so the f/1.2 would mean more to me.. even with 90mm eqiv FOV tele compression, the f/3.6 equiv DOF sometimes aren't thin enough :X

to me, macro is like totally useless since I NEVER shoot any close-ups. 1.2 vs 2.4 is two stops which is very significant. It is like a f1.4 vs 2.8 lens.

but if you think about it, the 56/1.2 is similar to a 85mm f1.8 which is a pretty cheap FF lens. The nikon 85mm afs f1.8 is very very good and cheap. I always think it is not cost effective to get wide aperture lens for mirrorless APSC format as the corresponding FF lens will always be cheaper.

Base is locked , not able to slot in my sdcard. Should have asked showroom man to allow me to take few shots to my card. It is going to be my favorite lens after I got it.
