Yupz, FPS games takes time to get used to using the game pad. For me coming from keyboard & mouse user, i'm still tryijng to get used to it.

But already, i can see potential advantage of a game pad. movement speeds can be much better controlled using a game pad. and its much easier to snip using a gamepad, feels really natural after a while. (no hassle of multiple key press)

I got bored of the car racing game, coz takes too long to get enuff money for better cars...heh. why can't they just give me a Evo right off the start???

Any1 interested in 2nd hand PS2? I have one tat's around 8mth old. It's partial modded DVD Australian PAL Code 3. Can play 99% of modded games (only clock tower 3 had problems so far). Serial number 39xxx generation 7.

Letting go at $350. Got whole set including games at around $600+. It includes 2 original shock pads, 10games (including original Tekken 4, VF4). Set does not come with warranty once modded. Interested do let me know. Selling coz never play liao....

Yes, around there, still cheaper than a gaming PC IMO. You are talking about one of the fastest consumer gaming processors around. With the ability to store 30 to 40 games inside the console, play divx & mpegs off the TV, internet, icq, FTP client. woah!

Actually, there's now a X-Box to USB adaptor available (by hackers of course!), to allow you to use keyboard, mouse and even an external USB harddisk. This is really mind boggling.

Hackers managed to run Linux off the X-Box. From Linux, you can use Netscape & ICQ, off your TV. You can use your X-Box connected to a LAN to play divx, mpegs off a remote computer.

A lot of Singaporeans don't know the potential of the X-Box, most of the hackers are in the States & Australia. An MIT student even wrote a thesis on hacking the X-Box.

But no software supporting it right? The keyboard and mouse only comes in handy when you want to install linux on the box.

I have just ordered the latest MOD chip, will try to mod another xbox myself, if successful I may offer my services to people who are interested.

Kind of modifications
- Able to switch between original bios (needed to play XBOX LIVE) and your own bios (up to 4 different bios)
- Linux OS
- Internet, ICQ
- FTP (give your XBOX an IP, transfer files to and fro the XBOX)
- USB Capable
- Able to backup games to the harddisk, to speed up loading of game (almost no loading time!)
- XBOX Media Player, play divx, mpeg,avi on the TV!
- Change color of XBOX logo
- Larger harddisk (e.g. 120GB)
