X20 thread

bro, did you happen to have tested it with any other triggers (that you possibly own)?

Initially I tested it with Phottix Stratos II, it doesn't trigger it off.

I don't have any other triggers, but you have to turn on the external flash in the menu first, by default it is switched off.

Opps, I think I wasn't aware of that. Thanks for the tip! Going home to try it again - was a little sad when the earlier test failed, as I expected that it should theoretically sync up to it's max shutter speed. :D

I just got this awesome camera, and have been playing around with it the last week. A full review is now on my blog, if anyone wants to read more about what it feels like using it: Fujifilm X20 Review

Love this cam and the Fuji colors it produces.

btw, i'm currently using the supplied neck/shoulder strap that came with my X20, but it kinda adds to the bulk, and i'd much rather get a wrist strap. any suggestions on what i could get? something not too expensive (less than USD30), preferably. i'm currently looking at the Gordy wrist strap

Do consider cam in wrist strap. You can get it fro. Tk foto at funan

I'm using barton strap, they have wrist straps as well. but i think over your budget. lol

thanks for the suggestions, guys. the cam-in looks nice. unfortunately, after googling cam-in straps, i can only find it at TK Foto, and i'm not in singapore and am looking to find a strap online. not sure if i can find on ebay etc. barton wrist straps all appear to be braided? not really my thing...and yes, probably well over my budget!

can try the peak design clip wrist strap. or gordys lor

thanks guys, just ordered a gordy. i like the leather style, suits the vintage look of the X20!

ordered directly from gordy (gordy's camera straps)

paid USD 24.90 shipped ($6.90 shipping) - and if you'd want a longer strap for the bigger xpro1 body, they have two longer length options for $1 and $2 more :)

The Fuji full case looks kinda bulky.
I prefer half case with gunshot strap.
The gariz half case costs $109 n the gunshot strap is $89.
Total damage is S$198

Have not gotten it yet. I called Digihub and they told me the prices. Available at Harvey Norman & TK Foto - both @ Funan

Just bought the X20 a week back and loving it. Replacing my DSLR gear as I dont have time for photography now.
Happy with the X20.

Looking for a half-case to go with the black/silver X20.
Cant decide which is a better match - the black or the tan.

The free case given by TK can be a full or half case. The top part is removable.
