X-T1

am disappointed.

1) No AF selection button on the camera body (needs to go in menu to do it)
2) No audio out means that unable to monitor video recording or use it close to the professional level.

I can live without those but I do think this camera doesn't differentiate itself enough from the rest of the family. I'll pass.

fantastic camera for sure, but will stick to my trusty old x-e1 for now as i don't see any wow factor for me to upgrade. however this will very likely win over some owners of competing brands.

the Down button is pre-programmed for AF

btw, the price is 180,000 yen (180,000.00 JPY = 2,227.66 SGD from XE.com). by the time it reaches Singapore's Shores, most likely it'll be about SGD 2,500? it's a price i'm still willing to pay :p

This is body alone or with the kit?

B&H pre-order price for body is USD1,299, that is SGD1650 before shipping cost and GST.

In electronics, you can never make money in selling 2nd hand items. Its only matter of losing more or less.

After playing with cameras for so many years, i have finally taught myself not to deceive myself and my wife anymore. As long as the pictures the camera takes can talk to me, its that matters most to me now. :)
