X-T1 with 18-55mm or OMD EM5 MK 2 with 12-40mm pro

Hahaha ... better to be a pro like you giving others the impression that you're not a pro rather than someone who is not a pro thinking they are a pro ... :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

On a serious note, I really just acting to be a Pro LOL.

Still a learner, a lot of things to pick up, after all the so called reading. I was out testing in actual field.

Only sentence... it was tough, here I am still trying to figure out how it done.

Mirror-less is very different league from the old SLR and DSLR when I was playing many years ago.

Right now, I am figuring out how to use flash.

Fuji lens is ex I think ... If u buy at retail price without pwp or kit package or free lens .... I am under the impression that m43 lens sold at a nice discount in Japan ... Much more so then Fuji lens

I never go look into overseas prices but honestly.

I think the local price is quite good. Most shops don't sell at the SRP la unless you suay kanna tok.

I think both are expensives lah ... :bsmilie::bsmilie:

but they both good make good lens especially the Pro & XF range ...

Without doubt both are good.

Only thing I felt was ... why the high-end pro series of M4/3 is not MIJ for some that is why I feel is X.

It goes back to costs aka , your final pricing for the product.

Will one be willing to fork out more just for the MIJ tag ?

Nowadays you can have : 'Parts made in Germany , Assembled in China' hence even so to me it's a waste to spend too much time on this.

Would be good if Fujifilm (or for that matter Panny Olympus Canon Nikon of Sony) can sell same model but one MIJ and one MIC with the former costing more and see how's the sales like ... :bsmilie: ... lol

Cheers

Bro 0_o Fujifilm not that big to do that deliberately lol.

Sometimes the country of manufacture changes due to shifting of manpower , factories.

I don really mind the country of manufacture nowadays since everything is so connected.

Imagine If I've a stamped 'made in US' camera , and it has parts sourced from Taiwan , Vietnam and China ?

For once, I am willing, I do believe in certain QC requirements.

Not possible, but there are PS4 has Made in Japan and China version. To be frank, if I knew that, I would have pick the MIJ edition over my local MIC.

Parts are parts, the final QC is still the most important.

I am not sure if you know how factories QC operators but yeah is scary to learn what goes inside LOL.

It is with sadness that i wish to let you guys know that I have reluctantly parted with my Fuji XT-1 ...

My consolation is that I sold to a nice gentleman ...
