quick question.. does any one have a problem with the raw files in Lightroom?

i have LR4.4 but even till now.. if i shot it in 1:1 ratio in camera (RAW+Fine) when I import them into LR, i can't "un-crop" them ie. change the ratio. I can see the preview file in my Finder and it shows the full 3:2 ratio image but LR only recognizes the original 1:1 ratio. any help?

Since nobody replied to your question, let me give it a go.

Once you have imported your raw file into Lightroom and opened it, press the "R" key to go to crop mode. Then somewhere on the upper right portion of the Develop module, look for the padlock symbol and click on it to unlock. You can now crop to any aspect ratio you want.

Hope this is what you're looking for.

Ya same as x-e1 will be released at 2pm today. Hope it will not be a disappointment. Happy waiting.
 

New firmware is OUT now!
1st thing once I get home, download and install
 

What is the verdict after the upgrade? I have briefly tested and find significant improvement on 60mm focusing speed but not so much for 35mm. Peak focusing is cool but will hardly use it, probably will be useful for macro shots.

me too. first lens i tested was the 60mm. can see the difference a lot
 

Fuji link for downloading the firmware shows Error 404... Anyone manage to download the firmware at this point?

Can install this X Pro 1 camera firmware update to X-E1??

think the xpro n xe1 diff file, cause i have both and the file name diff. lol
 

Before update, i have problem taking my daughter picture under my home cove lights with 60mm. After update, seem like the it accurately locked on her eye. About 90% of the photos are focused and sharp.

I can find the X-E1 site but cannot download the firmware... Can u share the link? Thanks
