There is no mention of changing minimum shutter speed on auto ISO. Hopefully they add it in as well.

according to the comments posted by DPreview staff "R Butler", the answer is no.

That is supposed to be an AF test? Both subjects are pretty far and why does the image still freeze?

it was a quick sneak to show the AF speed with the new firmware..
like you said the subjects were pretty far..

and after what u commented i took a 2nd look at the video..
it seems that both subjects (chair and pillar) were at a same distance away from the camera..
not conclusive.. camera may be pre-focussed too..

hope actual AF speed can reach what was shown in the video with ver2..

Anyone knows where I can get a x-pro1 battery. Third party (or rather a cheap price) is preferred.

Look around for Power2000 batteries. I bought 4pc from Amazon 3 months back and they have been performing the same as OEM batts. I think I bought mine for around U$6 per piece.

I now have 2x OEM and 4x 3rd party batts.

Hi Xpro1 owners, there is a macro button on the cam, does it mean that one can do macro with any lens attached including legacy lenses?

The macro button is exactly the same as those found on point and shoot cameras, once enabled the camera allows the lens to focus down to MFD (minimum focus distance). Think macro button as focus limit switch typically found on dedicated macro lens...

The macro button also forces the camera to enter EVF mode. The macro button does nothing on legacy lens.

No one can answer you before Sept 18... =.="

as much as I love my x-pro1, Ken Rockwell's review make no sense at all...

Thanks, I thought Fuji found a way to reduce the MFD!

Straight from the horse's mouth.

Firmware update for X-Pro1 will have the autofocus just as fast as the XE-1. We should expect a substantial improvement.
