X-10 Accessories Thread II

All the images in their website are X10, not sure about the X100.

huat ah! thanks for the clarification.

Just tried the one at sgcameras, it just sits swimming after tightening to the end of thread.

...you likely broke your X10 filter thread earlier, got my Nisi 40mm from SgCamera and it locked on nicely... I even brought a 40.5mm pinch cap to go with.

price tag state $319 on the box... but shld be cheaper to get the quote from them. my guess below 300?

just a quick question for u x10 users here - as a potential x10 user myself, i'd like to know how u guys use filters? always use the lens hood (original or copy) or do u find that a 40mm filter works?

I always use a lens hood with 52mm uv filter.

is the copy lens hood good? and does lens cap work when lens hood is on? :) thanks

Fuji's original hood has an interior velvet lining whereas JJC is metal. You can put a 52mm lens cap/filter when lens hood is on:)

I use JJC lens hood, what I did was place a gaffer tape around the inside rim of the hood then use a 58mm Canon front lens cap. It fits perfectly.

ur x10 handstrap, where u get it from? ;p

thanks! :) the JJC hood seems pretty good, it seems. although its a bit annoying that u gotta get another size lens cap to fit it. maybe i can get some generic 52mm cap

I had no idea the X10 came with a neckstrap. Guess the one that's coming with my Kaza case will be redundant.
