Guys, was checking out some vid, came across this vid. I know its not a x10 clip but the point i want to point out is ... will the pre focusing work on x10 manual focus as well?

no problem. remember dun screw in too hard, looks like the screw might potentially damage the hot shot mount.

Hi,
For me, i got the slim 40mm MC UV filter (from ebay) to protect the lens. Then follow by a 40mm-52mm adaptor & the lens hood. In this way, i'm not using the original lens cover anymore so it's ready to shoot anytime (much faster i guess).
To keep the cost low, i also use the original x10 leather cover but i'm using the half-case only plus the neck strap. I'm looking forward to buy the soft release button & maybe also the wrist strap.
BTW are u able to shoot RAW (& RAW + JPG) in all modes? I find that i can only do so in M A S & P modes.
Do u also know how to go to "B" bulb mode?

EF-X20 does not have bounce, which i do not like.
2nd question, the build in flash comes with i flash technology which is very smart. not sure the external flash has i flash tech. Is TTL same as i flash tech ?

EF-20 is $120?? those quotes i got from local shops all exceed $120.. one even quote almost $170! Based on the quotes i got, i doubt EF-X20 will be 200plus.

But it do look like some rangefinder meter. hah

Btw I dont tink those flash has the i fash tec. guess it only come with Fuji x10 build in flash.. just my guess

EF-20 I got it at SGD 128 from SLR Revo...

EF-42 is SGD 215 from SLR Revo...

Courts Singapore is selling the EF-20 at $168 and EF-42 at SGD285...

I really feel for the price of EF-X20 going for the EF-42 would be more cost effective with lcd screen and bounce vertical and horizonal shots... Only thing is that the EF-X20 has slave mode and the build is superior...

New user of X10 here! Looking forward to zhng my X10 too!! =p

Regarding the use of external flash, i fixed my Nissin Di622 (nikon mount) on my X10 and it works perfectly! =) Looks a bit imbalanced though hahaha.

Also can i check where i can get thumbs grip (horusbennu brand) and the step up adapter + hood in Singapore?

Thumbs grip can only get from ebay. As for lens hood, you can try some shops at Funan, or MS Colour, but do note some dont carry JJC/OEM hood, alternatively, you can get a OEM hood at Red dot photo for $35 (tats the cheaper i can find)
