How well does the tripod screw hold onto the camera? If you give it a few good shakes does it feel like it's coming loose from the half-case or does it maintain a solid hold?

- the leather pouch abit ex.. so still waiting the price to drop to `zheng`
- it is MC clear ... a very basic protection filter. I like hakuba because it is cheap and good quality.
I bought it for 1200yen. About SGD20. Will collect today to try out.
Saw marumi but price abit step for trial purpose.
May be will get marumi or Kenko for CPL in later time.

Gariz one which i think is nicer - because of the ability to change card/ battery without removing the case.
and if one wishes, can get matching lens cap sticker...

Haven't put the camera and case to punishing tests but the tripod screw has yet to loosen.

There's been some 'confusion' as to what fits and what doesn't.
39mm - u need to somehow fill in the gap.
40.5mm - u'll be able to turn once or twice but not all the way.
40mm - nice and snug!
so where to get a 40mm filter?!
NOTE : There are 2 versions - Clear 'non-coated' and Multicoated. (USD 17.80 vs 26.62)
Does anyone use the Marumi filter?
I'm wondering if the standard fujifilm lens cap will fit over it, as I'm trying to decide between a 40mm filter and the official lens hood/52mm filter option.

So what's the verdict between Roxsen and Marumi?
Also, I see two filters listed for the X10 on Roxsen's eBay page but I can't seem to make out what the difference is between them.

Yes and no. It will fit over it but it can't go in all the way as there is a 3.5mm space taken by the filter. Diameter is no problem, its the depth that's the problem. The way round this is to use a cheapo clip on 40.5mm clip on filter .. cost around $7-10 at most camera shops. I still got some Marumi left from the MO (2 uncoated, 2 Multicoated). See link

TK foto @ Funan selling sth similar... $12, very similar. you can check it out before ordering online. anyway i using De Camera Consultant soft release. look nice and fix nicely on x10.
