OK, this lens needs no introduction. Weather-proof, f2.8 (nice and bright view finder), SDM, and best of all, this copy has no issues with 'centering' etc etc. (test to believe).

I have owned it since late Nov last year, and had only seen very little action as I am so used to using my primes, and I'll continue to be one. So I decided to let this one go ...

This one's out for a week, and if I don't get it sold by then... maybe I should just keep it.

Are you using k10d or k20d? I heard that if used with k10d, you have to send them to the service centre for re-calibration? is that true?

I think not really.
If you find there is a FF or BF issue, you can calibrate the camera body(K10D here) by yourself, its very simple. If you send to the SC, they probably do the same thing.

Why selling such a good lens? Don't think there is any other better option for this one ...
