Just got some lens from friend switching system too,
a 105F2.5 AI in totally MINT condition at $350.
a 105F2.5 AIS (with built in hood), used but not abused condition (some wear of coating at back of lens, and rubber of focus ring came off, replaced with gaffer tape)
Image quality wise still very contrasty and sharp. $250.

23. 35mmf2.8 PERSPECTIVE CONTROL. Not a lens you see here everyday the nikon 24f3.5 TS cost 2k and is also manual focus
24. 55F2.8 AIS macro exterior has used marks, but glass still good. Sharpness and colours are good. Test it yourself if really keen.![]()

Another image taken this morning using the budget Nikon 105F2.5 AIS with extension tube on 5D. On cropped bodies expect it to be even more close up. This is already about 1:1 magnification. With additional closeup filter expect to go even closer. Shot taken wide open, thus the depth of field is really thin.
