100300mmf56ais1a.jpg

Sadly a rather underrated lens. This lens is really sharp at F5.6 through out and i love the very solid full metal construction.

Taken with this lens

XAV_0793.jpg

300mm with 2 pieces of 2X TC, a nikon TC201 and Tokina RMC 2X, on a D200, mounted on tripod.

" The close focus design allows the focusing to reach a minimum distance of only 0.71m (2.3 ft.) where a reproduction ratio of a good 1:44 is reach at this

close distance. Similarly, this Ai-S only Nikkor zoom adopts a pull and push sliding zoom design which enables it to be easily handle for maneuver for fast

change of focal length in picture composition and/or responding to quick action shooting. The all-in-one single zoom/focusing ring of this lovely zoom was

generously extended for positive, slip-free hand gripping and its main strength is ease of handling while maintaining a constant aperture of f/5.6 throughout

its entire focal length. The requirement of the light gathering power has resulting to its slightly larger physical dimension and weighs almost a kg (930g)

and it has a 62mm filter attachment size. "

Letting go at $300. Lens in very mint condition.

18. Tokina 24-40 ATX F2.8

tokina2440af1.jpg

Selling on behalf of friend. Rarely used lens in totally mint condition. Very solid metal built like tank. As the range is short, it gives very nice sharp

images even at wide open.

Image taken with the lens on a D3:

tokina24-40.jpg

and these

20. 105F2.5 AIS (with built in hood), used but not abused condition (some wear of coating at back of lens, and rubber of focus ring came off, replaced with gaffer tape)

Image quality wise still very contrasty and sharp. $250.

21. 200F4 Nikkor-Q auto AI MINT condition at $350.

22. 180mm PC Auto AI totally MINT condition. Contrast, colours, sharpness at 180mm f2.8 is fantastic, using it on a 5D alot this few days.

23. 35mmf2.8 PERSPECTIVE CONTROL. Not a lens you see here everyday the nikon 24f3.5 TS cost 2k and is also manual focus

24. 55F2.8 AIS macro exterior has used marks, but glass still good. Sharpness and colours are good. Test it yourself if really keen. :)

Hi thanks for your interest, got your sms as well.

However, if you go thru the top few post to see, the AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-300 f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED and Tokina 80-200 f2.8 ATX Pro are already sold.

between the 200mm F4 and AFD 80-200, it depends really on your preference and usage. The 200F4 using extension tube and closeup filters can give you fantastic macro combination. :)

How much is the 35mm f2.8 PC? Can it be used on a D70?

Hi bro,u got PM..:)

50mm F1.4 sold to a nice gentleman.

Clearly, the colours, saturation, contrast, sharpness are all 10/10.

IMG_9895.jpg

A shot at the minimum focus distance. Shot wide open at F2.5.
Bokeh is beautiful, details are all retained.

IMG_9895_1.jpg

Zoomed in crop of the above image, notice how all the details are still there. This lens is one of the very well know portrait lens, IMO within the nikon range, the only better portrait lens are the 85F1.4 and 200F2, but expect to PAY for them.

Here are some shots taken with the PN-11 extension tube, easily making this a fantastic macro lens.

The details should reveal how good the lens is.

All the images taken using the 12.8 MP canon 5D using an adaptor.

Looking at the crops, you can see that the optics of this lens out resolves the the 12.8MP sensor, which is higher than nikon flag ship D3. I believe even on the 22MP 1D mark 3 it still wont out resolved.
