i have gotten so many disparaging remarks throughout the years, even things like "oh, yet another wannabe photographer" when i was in a foreign country

I remember photography used to be a really respectable hobby in the past. People with SLR will be look upon with admiration. They will be considered as artists. At least that's how I feel about SLR photographers when I was younger.

But now because of a few black sheep, negative press and the DSLR market boom, certain stereotypes of photographers have been established. Things are just not like before anymore, and I don't think it'll ever be again :sweat:

now photography can be interpreted as a security threat (spy on spouse?:think, invasion of privacy (upskirt:sweat, too many pro PS work online (why u snap a pic of me?!!:kok & intellectual copyright laws (no photography allowed here!!:mad2: scared people copy ideas...).

Another solution is to grow long hair, wear black leather jacket and pant, and use Nikon camera....you know what I mean, haha. But the specs have to go
