my d90 just died on me

went to the service ctr and they quoted me $400+ to repair.

if you were me, will u repair or not? I bought it 3 yrs back for $1300.

if dnt repair then I'll have no camera to shoot (just a casual shooter nowadays) and a very expensive paper weight

it's unable to detect the lens connected.

aft checking, they mention that there's something that's spoiled and will need to replace the whole front body and a few things connect to it.

was thinking of a D600 but it's gng to cost quite a lot
