Woodlands Has Wonderful Sky

I love #1. but i felt that the fence was a little distracting. but still awesome!

s3ntient, thank you for your comments, I consider this tree is one of best for the sunset at Woodlands, need the tree to form the composition but the fence from the Woodlands Custom came as a package. Still need time to look for other trees in the same area for sunset's photo.

Cheers!

AripEvola, appreciate your comments, it worth my effort to show people in Woodlands that they have wonderful sky at their place.

Cheers!

Between the jetty and the future car park is open up, this is the area where the bridge is. From there you can shoot the sunset if the cloud clear.

Cheers!

Thank you for the comments.

Pic#16 taken on 7:20pm 2010 May 31, if you were there during this time. From what I saw, the ice cream man had very good business.

Cheers!

this has a nice mood to it, and just enough details to discern those moving cars. great job! :)

Nice to know you notice the cars' outline at the bottom of the photo, it required some imagination. Most of them were the Singapore cars heading home. To me it is fun when someone found out what hidden in the dark. Again, thank you for viewing.

Cheers!

also torn between these 2. for the 1st one, wanted to get more of the reflections in the water, whereas the 2nd one, more of the sky. no idea which framing would be better.

this last one is a HDR composite. still learning how to use photomatix though.

quite rushed trying to take these shots cos was with the whole family. any comments? good or bad i'll take it!

hydroburn249, the location you selected was not a good place to shoot, and difficult to produce good composition. In your examples, my suggestion is to move to other location of Woodlands Waterfront and start shooting. Below, some other angle you might be interested to try.
