eadwine, if I may suggest, use higher compression for your photos. quality is not compromised much but the filesize will be much smaller!!!

1 1/2 hr bus ride from jb to mersing, 4 hour boat ride to dayang

open the pic using a photo editor, save as and change the quality, compression (different editors have different places to change).... but remember to rename your files!!! you would want to keep the original at the highest quality/lowest comparession.

i dun mind u post a bigger. probably 800 x 600 version..

but may be u can increase the compression?

most of my pic are 800x600 and file size is less than 100kb, i am using level 8 compression in Photoshop.

or try to make the pic below 100kb

now your pic is almost 270kb!!

anyway, even if u use very high compression....like level 4 or 5, u won't see much different with the quality...unless u enlarge the jpg after that

try level 5!!! that's what I use for my pics here. as I mentioned before, don't overwrite your original files.

Hadn't commented on your pic.... it's great!!!! Made me want to go there now!!!
