Some shots by the sea. Bought the V1+10mm f/2.8 at a very good price to replace my aging LX3. Using it as a light meter / backup camera to my LF setup in the background.

I agree. Its a nice package in a small size & light weight. You can find some images I took with the V1 & the 10-30 mm lens during a recent trip to the US. Even the dimly lit interiors of the submarine are visible with the SBN-5 flash mounted on this rig.

It's a camera but other than that I don't think they're comparable, I have both the OMD and the V1. What do you want to do with the V2?

Yes but I never do that. Seriously, the D800 battery lasts very long and I only need to do that on very long trips.

Haha, totally different cameras. The P7700 has more control at your fingertips but the V1 has much better image quality, faster focus and better lenses you can change.

I would have bought the V1 anyway, it's a good system if you know how to get the most out of it.
