I think you should wait bro... at least wait until the rumored V2 official specs are out, so you can compare with V1 specs... you can decide then which one suits you... thanks

It seems Nikon is going to introduce 3 new 1 Nikkor lenses next week:

1 Nikkor 32mm f/1.2
1 Nikkor 6.7-13mm f/3.5-5.6
1 Nikkor 10-100mm f/4-5.6

The new J2 got this function of turning to close the lens off the cam, which J1 & V1 do not have...
I am wondering, the old cam can do this function with just a firmware update...Y nikon is not giving us!??
Or I totally got the wrong concept ?

Maybe Nikon doesn't want to or there is a technical reason. Not a deal breaker for me.

Humm....yes, not really a big deal, but if SW alone able to twit it, should give to user. It's a added function. Satisfied customers will come back for more...

Even if Nikon doesn't distribute body-only kits in a country, some dealers are always willing to break up a kit for you and sell you just the body.

Ahhh! Dammit! Just bought a 35mm f/1.8G DX! Luckily it was from Amazon and cost me SGD$250. The good thing is I can sell it for SGD$270 in the marketplace here when the 32mm comes out!

With crop factor of 2.7 the equivalent aperture is 1.2x2.7=3.24. The 35 1.8 gives you 1.8x1.5=2.7 so it will still out perform the f1.2.
