EUGENE where is my hornbill

Coming, coming... I woke up at 9+pm after a 4.5 hour nap/slumber... ;p

JP and I went Ubin today in search of our endangered hornbills. After a long 4-hour search, just when we were giving up, JP alerted me to a hornbill and I managed to take a shot of it in mid-air. Many thanks to him and his very quick reaction... :)

JP, the hornbill you took was perched on the treetop? Wow... wasted. If only the pic turned out alright, then we would have another hornbill in the treetop. :(

Shall we go again in the near future after my papers? ;)

To add on to the list, wildlife lovers can and should watch this show 'On the Edge: Mad Mike and Mark' http://www.animalplanet.com.au/madmikeandmark/feature1.shtmlon Animal Planet shown every Monday night at 8pm. It will show these two men, one armed with a classic Nikon camera, in search of wild animals.

For bird hunters/shooters, see Arthur Morris' (http://www.birdsasart.com/) and Andy Rouse's sites (http://www.andyrouse.co.uk/) sites. And also our local one (http://www.pbase.com/chngpe01/)
