Why professional photographer can have double identity on clubsnap? Sneaky!

May I ask is it against Clubsnap rules to use two user accounts blatantly? Or maybe professional photographer can close one eye?

Was considering hiring Fabian Leow FL-Fotographics for actual day, did a background check and google his handphone number, surprised to see his got multiple user accounts on clubsnap. One account is fabianaino, the other account is PoshLouis. Both use the same handphone number 98574175 to sell things and solicit customers. I remember reading clubsnap rules cannot have multiple accounts to prevent price fixing.

So now I donno if he is Fabian or Louis or Posh, anyway not friendly and rude by giving arrogant reply when discuss discount.

We are very focus on personalized service and courtesy has always been on the top of our agenda when dealing with our clients. We have also made painful efforts to instill this mindset to our associate photographers and videographers.

Do let us know which of our messages, email or conversation have crossed the line. We will make effort to examine our mistake and make sure that we do not repeat the same verse to cause discord sentiments.

With regards to the posting on weddingforum.sg, the posting was made to a thread in November 2010. We have since made price changes in 2011.
As we have made quarterly price adjustments to our pricing, we regret to inform you that that promo package is no longer applicable.

With regards to discount, I believe there must be some reasons why your request for discount was decline.
If you really love our works, do contact us directly again. I am sure with more understanding on how we deliver our works, we can come to some amicable amount.

Can I ask, so is PoshLouis your clone account? While it does seem that this thread was started because TS was miffed at not being offered a discount, the question does still remain outstanding despite your response. Thanks.

you are not answering the questions post #1 directly, TS is not asking you for discount now, and amazingly you still can take this opportunity to advertise your business here...

our stands on clone accounts is very clear cut, every members know about this, and we are expecting an explanation from you on this issue.
 

It seems quite clear to me... Unless two people ("Louis" and "Fabian") share one handphone (ridiculously unlikely, especially for a business owner using the number as his business line).

Dear Catchlights,

To answer the questions directly the second identity as Poshlouis was created in this forum for sales items as well as WTB purpose.
I do not see this as a clone identity as neither complement each other in terms of business or sales items.


In various business or way of life, many a times there's different identify.
Much like Toyota have Lexus and Versace have versus or like us we have photography branching into videography. They are branded differently.
We also have un related business under different brand names however, they share my same mobile number.

I do not wish to have an incident where people come buying things from me in the sales sections and attempting to profess to advertise for me in anyway in order to get a discounted item.
The incident may happen the other way round. It's a way for me to reduce conflict of interest.

This is the reason is was created.

Is this acceptable? Personally, given my own expericence of mistaken clone account, I don't think this cuts any ice. If it is acceptable, than everyone also want to register another account for the sole purpose of promoting their service and another for their personal posting, maybe also another one for BnS so that there is no conflict when talking about gears which they are selling/buying on BnS. Think the mods should clairfy.

think the rules are clear enough. and i do not see what good reason you have for being special enough to have 2 nicks.

as it is, there are 2 good reasons to de-register you for (a)having clone accounts, and (b)being an illegal advertiser for your business without signing up as an advertiser. do decided what you want to do by friday. else the admin/mod team will proceed with the necessary actions.

The term of use is very straight forward and simple. Want to be in CS, then follow the term of use, if not please leave. While you do not see it as clone account we in CS do, period. No need to wait for Friday.

Both account deregistered.

Actually i find his sales thread offensive & rude.

If he is the one who personally posted this, you can probably guess the level of service you'll be getting.
