nothing beats the viewfinder... prefer it over any flippable or rotatable LCD.... specially in bright sunlight
a viewfinder feels more natural when composing shots, but the swivel LCD does has its uses as well.
Last year I went to an event with my A850, and there's a big crowd at the stage, alot of ppl in front blocking me and I cant take a shot at all. At that time, I wished Ive brought my A55 along, then i can flip down my screen and take overhead shots.
Another occasion is when Im taking low angle shots in grass. I don like to lie down on grass (Ive seen some people do that), and the A55 allows me to compose low angle shots without getting my body all the way down.
But the best use of the A33/55 is for girls. Firstly, if they're wearing skirts, if they squat down to take low angle shots, they'll be giving ppl a free show :bsmilie:. With tiltable LCD screens, at least they can take wait level shots, or bend down abit to take an even lower shot (but then maybe they'll show downblouse instead, if their shirt is loose ;p )
And also, girls will use it for their Zi Pai photograpgy. My female friends LOVES my A55, they always wanna zipai with it
