thanks for advertising for Sony and EDMW too! yea overhead shot in a crowded market / MRT station or wherever is so much easier to compose with tiltable screen, as i've done here.http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showthread.php?t=3121170&page=10

that's not composing.. that's just allowing you to take an over-head shot and seeing what's in the frame to adjust your positioning. there's no composition in those pictures.. it seems more like point-and-shot... so you can't say "easier to compose with tilt-able screen, as i've done......".

the tilt-able screen's just a feature that's more helpful for situations where you don't need to perform gymnastics to get the shot IMO :bsmilie:

but without the screen i wouldn't even know where i'm pointing at when doing overhead shots, it won't even look "point-and-shoot" and more of "i happened to be there and shot some random pictures and hoped you know what i want to say with these" . Of course those few are more of journalism than artistic, no "composition" in that sense, but it's a general idea.
