stopped buying sony many years ago becos i hated the way they live in their own world. If they needed a storage medium they made one just for themselves. And there are different versions of the MS, not just a universal MS.

Yeah, I have the same sentiments of "dun buy sony" herd.
However, I must admit they have pretty hip features
such as "Hologram AF" and "Night framing" that are currently
not available in other makes.

Personally, I think Panasonic is a pretty strong up-and-coming
brand that is competing head to head with Sony.

But, not sure lah. :dunno:
Looks like Sony still has a stronger synergy in digicam and its
camcorder. And there may be a convergence in the future.

I do hope market forces and critical mass will force Sony to think otherwise.

That MG technology is really useless lah! I heard that it takes up to 20MB for a 256MB card. But for 512MB, its lesser. Dun think it take up 30MB......maybe for a 1G card?
