My exact sentiments too.. Hmm, :think: should I sell my 18-35 & get the 18-70? Anyone can comment on the comparison of the two (apart from the obvious focal length diff of course)

everyday we have been flooded with the news of D70 and the BUY BUY BUY syndrome. Just wondering if anyone out there will NOT be buying the D70, well, at least for now.... :devil: We all know that cost is a big factor here...but let us share the other not so obvious reasons why you won't be rushing into shops to grab the babe D70 ..... as yet.

it's just a comsumer product, on the shelves in the shops. got money, and feel like buying, then buy...think its just another piece of equipment that you can do without, and that your point and shoot is much much better, then dun buy.....whatever reasons people buy equipments, i dun comment...

a piece of photography equipment, like in this case, the D70 DSLR, by itself, cannot do much to improve one's skills...how it's being used to achieve the desired results...buying and using a new camera doesn't instantly give you good pictures, users will have to learn about the functions and what-nots of the camera, in order to manipulate it well, and learning to take good pictures, takes time.

well...it will certainly not improve one's skill, but one can start using this camera to learn how to take good pictures.
