It could be 5D mk2 would be using the 1Ds mk2 sensor to extend the use of that particular manufacturing process... without having to invest in a completely new system to make a brand new sensor... Maybe with some minor improvements... we can all hope!

most likely they will use new CMOS sensor as too reduce noise level further at High ISO...
