Thanks. The English price was for body and lens only. If I can get body, lens and a 1gb card for S$1200, and possibly get my GST back, then there is a worthwhile saving to be made in Singapore!

Yes it should be very worth your while. GST is 5%. If u shop at any place other than the large electronic marts (Best Denki, Harvey Norman, Courts & Big by SAFE), then u should look out for this GST thing. Prices may vary widely as the shop owners may tend to quote without GST to 'help' u make your choice. I suggest that if u come by S'pore and have the time to go to one of the large electronic marts I highlighted above, u should go find out what the price and the standard KM 5D package are first before venturing to any other smaller shops. Do note that there is a blacklist published by Singapore Tourism Board as well. Avoid the shops listed in it like the plague (or bird flu to be more contemporary). Also note that the warranty included is an international warranty. So it should still be valid back home in UK. U should also get a ordinary Kingston (or equivalent) 1GB CF card (about 32x or 40x) worth roughly S$115.
