Manta manta, we saw manta!!!~ :vhappy:

We were at Rayner's rock yesterday morning, and I saw a white looming figure approach the very first minute when we descended.. took me a second to realise it was a white manta! My divers were facing another direction, and I had a hard time getting my pointer out from my BCD (too excited!!!) to signal to them while I looked on in amazement at the giant approaching... I didnt take any photos, cos no camera, but some of the divers got quite good footage of it, hehehe...

it was about 3m wingspan length (not very big for a manta? but huge for me!), white with beautiful patterns on its back, and two cobias following it like solemn bodyguards... it was pretty curious about us, circled us so many times and came really close... almost belly rubbing distance!! (not that i tried, hoho)

some of the divers saw a second white manta, just a bit smaller. didnt stay as long as the bigger one, but i guess still thrilling for them.. and they are on OWD course!!!!
