most small cam housings are around 300++ iirc...

diff people got diff views. i might think is good, you might think it's sucks. well, all the operators trying to make a earning out the diving industry. some of them compromise safety for $$$. you have to find it out yourself.

sometime when operators too strict, you or I will complain. so sometime we also compromise safety with diving. kekeke

for me, i do my own trip planning or followed my friend who is an instructor & help out in the trip as a dive guide.

as long as my trip is safe & diving is good. I'm satisfied.

Anyone interested for a photo session U/W? I'm planning to go for a trip next month to Pular Aur.

Date: 25 April weekend.

Some of my friends will be taking their Advance Open Water course with my friend.

Cost: Market price. Try to get below market price.

There will be also a pool session for those interested but limited space. Pool session to review Open Water Skills plus trying out your camera & housing. I always do a pool test for my housing & camera before I go for any trip. I don't want any cam of mine flooded.

FYI, I'm not earning anything out from the trip, just getting some company with same interests.

Planning to buy 5050 with PT-015 and DS-125 strobe, but need someone to dive with also.

Kng, think Dx-25 is cheapest alternative, UW strobes is very expensive, and you do need them! Pictures without strobe is not good, unless taken very shallow, 2-3 meters and even then it is often better to have a strobe, and the built in strobes is to close to the lens so you get lots of backscatter.

Read that one of the members (Andrew_C) is selling a Canon IXUS 300 with u/w housing and accessories for $700 neg.

I got my Canon u/w housing for $330 from CP, so that package is prob a good deal.

Thanks Ahsiang and Stefan for your suggestions. The S&S YS90DX package is about $1K so i'm still thinking v hard about it!
(Any 2nd hand u/w digicam strobes for sale here?)

I realised that w/o a strobe, its almost impossible to get quality pix of larger sea animals like sharks, mantas or schooling fishes. Ahsiang, any recommended strobes from the enzomarine webshop?
