White balance in Digital camera

I notice that the white balance in the digital camera will normally change the ambient lighting condition. Meaning under the bulb condition, a white dress will look orange, but taken using digital camera it will change the dress back to white.
Anyway to avoid that to capture as what you seen in naked eyes? :dunno:
 

You could use an expodisc to set custom white balance.

Both of these photos were taken on a tripod mounted camera with a 100mm macro lens, ISO 200, F/11, 6 sec exposure.
