Whirring Noise in my 18-200 mm VR??

Just got back my lens. S$S$205.45 w GST.
Labor charge : S$180;
Parts Charge : S$12 (FPC):bigeyes:

What?!?!?!???!?!??!? Labour is 15x the price of the part changed??!?!? Nikon really need to do something about this!!!!! I know it's hard to strip.. That warrants the cost of the labour to a certain extent, but it does mean that Nikon need to do something about the reliability of the FPC because IMO the labour charge is still too expensive!!

I'd my D80 body repaired too. It charged S$120 for labor and S$2 for parts...:dunno:

Thot got hope and was thinking of going down and ask them change fpc....BUT that is way too much man! For something that is design flaw and might happen again!!!
