Yeah.. That's one of the problem with lower MP count. You have to get it right the first time. More like shooting slides. For me I'm so used to shooting negs that I usually shoot with some allowance for finer cropping during printing. But with a D2-series camera, the viewfinder is so accurate that you will automatically feel confident enough to get it right during shooting.![]()
Sometimes it's not quite possible especially if you're using prime lenses. With better zooms nowadays, it makes composing a whole lot easier.. But still sometimes there is a need to crop further because after looking at the picture a few more time, sometimes I do get new ideas and may want to crop it differently. It's purely for artistic reasons to make the picture more balanced etc etc..if possible, i don't wanna do any sort of cropping at all. it's better to learn how to compose the photos properly on field to avoid the much hated post processing workflow, imho.
No doubt it will be a D2H or D2Hs.
For most of the time, a a pro 4MP is all you need unless you do a lot of Super Gigantic size posters (which I doubt too many people will be doing that).
Those who own a D2H or D2Hs will swear by the focusing power compared to a D200. I have an 85mm f1.4 and did a test on both camera bodies. D2H still wins hands down.
Shutter speed at 8fps will keep you going on events.
At the end of the day, depends on your own. I have seen good photos coming out from D200 and D2Hs on events and weddings. So it all boils down to how efficient the photographer is.....not the body.
the d2h/s sucks man. 4.1mp whats the use.. if its only at least 8mp or 9mp it would be better than d2x and d200
You haven't seen the power of D2H... :sweat:the d2h/s sucks man. 4.1mp whats the use.. if its only at least 8mp or 9mp it would be better than d2x and d200
well it depends on what size of prints you always print. give you 12mp but you print 4Rs, what's the use?

Oh man!! I would not make this statement if I were you!! Even though I feel that 4.1mp is not sufficient for my style of shooting, you need to see the output of the D2H to let it blow your mind off!! I can agree that you cannot compare it to D2X, but I would not dare to claim that it cannot compare with D200 because it has different uses.the d2h/s sucks man. 4.1mp whats the use.. if its only at least 8mp or 9mp it would be better than d2x and d200
I'm wishing the D200 having LBCast 4MP sensor... this will be the best cam of current technology.Oh man!! I would not make this statement if I were you!! One of the D1 series bodies (can't remember which one) is only 3.2mp but it can easily beat the 6mp D100.
Then for slightly a bit more $$, just buy the D2H lah!!I'm wishing the D200 having LBCast 4MP sensor... this will be the best cam of current technology.
now the Megapixel talk again. more megapixel = better ? :bsmilie:
what a joke :bsmilie:
obviously he havent seen the true power of the D2h/s raw yet.....
What's missing is 3D matrix metering II, and size of camera without grip. Then for slightly a bit more $$, just buy the D2H lah!!
obviously , he hsnt.. and probably think that Raw Sucks
3D matrix metring II should not be that big of a deal.. I'm one of the old school people who use center weighted and spot more frequently. Learn not to rely too much on technology. ;p However, I have to admit that I am starting to use matrix more often nowadays because Nikon's matrix is really good!!! :thumbsup:What's missing is 3D matrix metering II, and size of camera without grip.![]()
