Haha... OOT Liao.
Ya, seriously... If I were to given a choice... I will still go Full Frame, by passing the APS-C or MFT route... Sensor size does matter, given the IQ it gave is simply unachievable with my X-E1 nor my previously owned NEX 7. If I were to start a new system today from scratch. A7 or A7R for sure... Just my 2 cents worth...
True
When i m using apsc nex 6, still thinking of FF.

Ts is already on a FullFrame camera right now [ canon 6d ] so there's no need to chiong FF. There are some who went down from a FF to m4/3s and still loving every bit of it. A friend of mine downsized from the 6d with his bokehlicious lenses to a em5 and never looked back. I personally feel going down the sensor size ladder does not necessarily mean taking a step back. Not everyone's chasing the narrow dof look or the ff dream. I myself have considered the omd em-1 before settling for the a7r out of novelty. Truth be told, the nex5n and nex6 i used to have already met my expectations in terms of low light performance. Brought the nex 7 along for a trip and i still enjoy taking photos with it.
Of course ,one cant deny that bigger sensors have got certain merits like low light performance etc. It all comes down to wants and needs. Going up the sensor size ladder step by step allowed me to appreciate the low light capabilities of having a bigger sensor. Ts i feel the fact that u included the Xt-1 into the list of choices is that u do have your reservations about the a7/a7r which is perfectly normal. The numbers pros of cons of both a7/a7r prolly outweigh each other to make it a fairly mehh camera. Dont fall into the BBB syndrome , end up selling everything and getting a system that u don't even feel comfortable with. Try it as long as u want at the sony store. Then ask yourself if its worth all the effort.
MTL BBB.
the A7R is better than the 6D lor.
why? "A" comes before "D".
Alpha is "A", therefore the first. "D" is the fourth alphabet. cannot make it lah![]()
How abt Leica "L" cannot judge by alphabet lei. Lol!!!
Great
while waiting for more FE lenses can consider getting this as well to use the current crop of lenses u have with the a7/R.

Ditch your 6D and go for A7. From 6 to 7 is upgrade. From 6 to 1 is downgrade.
Buy the A7R as the R stands for Repent... :bsmilie:
you mean... your wallet repents :bsmilie:
Any auto focus sony lens to recommend for A7R for street photography?
you want fast focusing, go for the Sony FE 24-70 F4. you want good IQ, go for the canon 24-70 F2.8 II. no best of both worlds ahha
