Is the Elements 8 coming soon?

CS4
LR2
Irfanview
Photomatix Pro

I use Photoscape most of the time for general tweaks.
Other than that,GIMP.(rarely would I need more than what Photoscape can provide)

In my honest opinion, all the listed apps are good, to some extent.

But photoshop is.. KING.. (no discussion about it) ;p

I'm using picassa 3 to tide me over. Between that and the provided Canon Digital Photo Professional 3.4 that I got with my cam, can do most fixes and effects.

I'm learning how to use GIMP though, I'll need the flexibility and power of a real editing tool sooner or later... just that the learning curve is soooo steep

lightroom 2 then ps cs3 for intensive editting

I heard Photoshop is a powerful photo editing application but I only know how to use Aperture 2. I find it's simple and powerful enough.

Photoshop could make wonders uh?

Aperture 2
Lightroom 2
and Photoshop CS4
:)

There's a little known program called paint.NET, which is very versatile and useful and free...
I used it to edit my pictures.

Hope some of you might try it, though with photoshop, theres really no reason too. :)
