70-200 f2.8 IS II is big and heavy, not practical to carry around and shoot, simply say need to mount on tripod and carry around...

Sure, it's big and heavy, but not not impractical to carry around and shoot. Also, I have seen more people shoot handheld than on tripod with 70-200 f2.8 IS II.

btw, I for one, do carry it around and shoot like a general purpose lens. I believe I'm not the only one...

Same here. Once I see the shots I get out it, I find that it's all worth it lugging it around.

70-300l..good companion.

24-70 f2.8 I

love this brick. just wished it was internal zoom.

24-70mm f/2.8L II, new one that bring joy to me! perfect lens

Well for me, the lens that is fixed on my body most of the time is the 17-40 due to the light weight, ultrawideness and its the cheapest L lens =) scores well of value-for-money so it gets my vote =)

I guess filters will be no no. :(

Ha ha, I am least concerned about the filter but it may look like that:

Me too, for the image quality... It's all worth that extra weight although my back is complaining hehe
