TS you may also want to consider a camera that has a built-in bracketing feature. I find that for many of my landscape shots, I end up doing a HDR by merging several exposures. Sure you can do it manually by changing the shutter speed by it's about convenience. I'm using the D5100 and find it has great dynamic range and noise control for landscapes.
