anyway i heard that recently, mercedes has been rather sloppy in its engineering and has been too hasty to puch out new models with little improvements over the predecessor models. in a pinch, the quality of the mercedes brand has deteriorated somewhat from it's earlier hey days resulting in a loss of market share to the BMWs.
i think for now, BMWs would be a safer bet.

got!!! I merc supporter!!! handling, both quite the same. but room wise, merc is better, styling for new merc is smart looking too. that's why i go for merc...

but having said that, i'll go for neither.... still prefer softer cars like audi A6, VW Phaeton.
