I'll be happy if my next next U/W camera will comes with....

1) 28mm wide angle
2) Use SDHC card
3) Can shoot in RAW (Canon's PowerShot A650 IS can't do this)
4) 16:9 video format in AVI
5) IS-ed
6) Use normal AA batteries...... ( thats why can't get Canon's G9)
7) Inon start selling a AD Mount Base that I could use with the cameras U/W casing..... for both Wide Angle & Macro wet lense.

Anyone building one..... ??

no idea.. waiting for people to sponsor a camera so i can try :bsmilie:

its a software, u store in ur card, as long as the card is in camrea, it boots from there, removing the card resumes the camera to its original state I think

Must bootup everytime. Else it will go back to default.

Consider this.. first, do you need to shoot in raw? Even though it is better since the images are not processed by the camera?

By doing so means you have to do post-processing work as well. If your on a holiday and just taking for fun and your going to print up to say 5R.. I believe jpg will do just fine.

The reason i want RAW is because I could adjest things like W/B, colour tones, brightness.... etc, more easily.

But I agree that the post-processing is terrorible...... I usually shot about 1000 photo on a good dive trip. Yeah.... post-processing will kill most..... hahaha

i think the hack is only got DIGIC 2 based cameras. A640 is still Digic2

Wow..I think you shoot more pics than me in a trip.
25 days in Bali and I think I only took like 200 images but that was just WA.
