Which camera to get?

Hi all,
Can anyone please advise me which camera to get for diving. Budget ard S$1K for camera and housing. Saw Lumix RX30 yesterday, but there is no housing at SimLimSq. Is this a gd camera for underwater.

you can consider the fuji f50fd with housing $900
or
Canon A650 with Housing $1000

I've a D70 and D80 but the housing too exp. Oso have a casio EXZ750, but this model don't make housing, so I bought a EWA Pac, don't seem to be able to take depth of 20m. Now decided to get a new set. Hope to find more from you guys who have much experience in this area.

Best advise I could give....

Look at the website of the brand of camera you aiming for...... see if they are selling a U/W casing with the model you want. If not, then maybe 3rd party casing......

since u have experience with DSLR then the A650 will be a better choice, giving you Full Manual Control, f50 has only Aperture or Shutter Priorty mode.

Ikelite housing for the A650 is quite affortable. so you might want to consider it over the more flimsy canon housing.

E900 is discountinued, but its a great camera.. sold mine and now abit regret hahaha

Thks for your recom, Iwas at H Norman, saw A570 on offer S$390, but this cam use 2AA bat compare to 4AA on A650. Housing available@S$380. Wat ur suggestion? Might consider f50fd, understand underwater housing not available yet. Thks in advance. :bsmilie:

Nope, they only make for canon, nikon, olympus, sony.
